16 - 27 Mayıs tarihleri arasında gerçekleşecek olan 76. Cannes Film Festivali'nin resmi seçkisi açıklandı. Festival bu yıl Maïwenn tarafından yönetilen, Johnny Depp'in rol aldığı "Jeanne du Barry" filmiyle açılacak.
Beklendiği üzere Nuri Bilge Ceylan'ın son filmi "Kuru Otlar Üstüne" ana yarışma seçkisinde yer alıyor. Jüri başkanlığını Ruben Östlund'un yaptığı festivalde ayrıca; Wes Anderson, Todd Haynes, Wim Wenders, Hirokazu Kore-eda gibi isimlerin filmleri Altın Palmiye için yarışacak.
Martin Scorsese'nin Leonardo DiCaprio başrollü yeni filmi "Killers of the Flower Moon" ve James Mangold tarafından yönetilen "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" de Yarışma Dışı olarak festivalde gösterilecek.
