Felekten Bir Gece - Beyazperde.com eleştirisi : Felekten Bir Gece

Felekten Bir Gece kaba, belden aşağı, tiksinti verici, utanmaz, arlanmaz bir ahlaksızlık abidesi. Bu arada filmin ne kadar komik olduğundan, en az bir kaç kez koltuğumdan düşürecek kadar güldürdüğünden, ancak bir kaç yılda bir benzeri bulunacak kalitede (Veya kalitesizlikte, bakış açınıza kalmış) bir komedi olduğundan bahsettim mi?

Hikayenin yüzde doksan beşini olabildiğince belden aşağı esprilerle doldurduktan sonra sıcak ve şirin bir sonla bitiren, 40 Yıllık Bekar ve Çok Fena gibi Judd Apatow komedilerinin büyük hayranıyım. Fakat itiraf etmeliyim ki Felekten Bir Gece'nin şirin bir sonun vereceği güvenliğin arkasına saklanmadan baştan sona umarsızca kaba ve ahlaksız bir komedi bombardımanı olması orijinal ve taze bir hava yaratıyor.

Eğer doğaüstü düzeyde beceriksiz ve gerizekalı üç ana "karakter"in filmin sonlarına doğru birden hayatın anlamını keşfetmelerini bekliyorsanız zamanınızı harcamayın. Film, Las Vegas'ta bekarlık partisine gelip kafayı bulduktan sonra damat Doug'ı (Justin Bertha) kaybeden Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) ve Alan'ın (Zack Galafianakis) Doug'u bulmaya çalışmaları etrafında gelişiyor.

Geyik Muhabbeti ve Old School gibi yer yer sınırları zorlayan espriler içermesine rağmen dengesiz ve yavan bir tad bırakan iki filme imza attıktan sonra Felekten Bir Gece ile ilk komedi şaheserine imza atan yönetmen Todd Phillips'in amacı, bu basit konu kalıbının içine olabildiğince edepsiz, abartı ve yer yer şiddetli durumlar ve espriler sıkıştırmak. Öyle ki bu eleştiri boyunca sansürlenmeden örnek verebileceğim sadece iki sahne aklıma geliyor.

Birincisi, avanaklarımızın küçük çocuklardan elektrik yediği karakol sahnesi. İkincisi ise bebeğin kafasının taksinin kapısına çarptığı espri. Bu sahnelerin ikisi de ailelere uygun fragmanlarda var tabii. Ailelere uygun olmayan bazı diğer sahneler şöyle:

Filmin başlarında Alan --- ---- ----- bebeğin --- --- gibi --- oluyor. Sonradan ---- ----- --- tavuk ---- -------- ---- çok komik. Ayrıca karakterlerimiz bir sahnede ------ ------- ---- Mike Tyson ----- ----- ---- kaplan'ı ---- gibi yapıyor. Sonlardaki bir kare Alan'ın ----- ----- bir fahişe tarafından ----- ----- ------- görüyoruz. Bitiş jeneriğinde görünen bu sahne filmin en büyük kahkahalarından birini sağlıyor ve ayrıca gelecekte sınırların ne kadar zorlanabileceğinin ipuçlarını veriyor.

Felekten Bir Gece'den ne kadar haz alabileceğiniz tamamiyle espri anlayışınıza bağlı, bu kadar basit. Eğer Ah Mary Vah Mary'de ta on sene önce seyirciyi şoke eden, fakat günümüzün standartlarıyla neredeyse Doris Day komedilerinin masumiyetiyle karşılaştırabilecek "saç jeli" şakasına halen mideniz bulanıyorsa aman diyeyim Felekten Bir Gece'den uzak durun. Fragmanda şirin bebek var diye aldanmayın. O bebeğin elleriyle neler yapıldığını bir bilseniz...

Geriye kalan "anlaksız"ların ise salonları bir an önce doldurmaları tavsiyem.

The Hangover is a rude, crude, crass, disgusting and shameless pile of indecency and immorality. Oh, did I mention how funny it is? Or that it made me laugh so hard that I almost fell out of my seat on numerous occasions? Or that it's one of those rare comedies that pushes the boundaries so much, it only comes along once every couple of years?

I'm a big fan of Judd Apatow comedies like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Superbad, where ninety-five percent of the story is crammed with as many crude and immature jokes as possible, only to finish up with a warm and fuzzy ending with lots of heart. Yet I must admit that The Hangover's unapologetically shameless and crude approach all the way through without hiding behind the safety of a cute and warm ending gives it an aura of originality and freshness.

If you are expecting our three almost supernaturally incompetent and stupid "characters" to find the meaning of life at the end, don't waste your time. The story revolves around Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Alan's (Zack Galafianakis) search for Doug the groom (Justin Bertha) after they lose him following a crazy bachelor party in Vegas, of which none of them have any recollection of.

Director Todd Phillips, who helms his first comedy masterpiece after Road Trip and Old School, two similarly envelope-pushing, yet uneven and bland efforts, does a great job of squeezing in as many shameless, over-the-top, and sometimes violent jokes and situations inside this relatively simple concept. So much so that I can only think of two scenes I can give as an example on this review without being heavilt censored.

The first scene involves our morons being tazered by little school kids in jail. The second is a gag where the baby they find in the closet of their bachelor pad accidentally gets his head slammed on a taxi door. Both of these scenes can of course be found in family-friendly trailers. The non-family-friendly scenes are as follows:

During the beginning, Alan --- ---- ----- the baby --- --- like --- happens. Then ---- ----- --- chicken ---- -------- ---- very funny. Also, during one scene, our main characters ------ ------- ---- Mike Tyson ----- ----- ---- tiger ----. A photo near the end shows Alan ----- ----- in an elevator ----- ----- ------- by a hooker. This shot shown during the end credits provides one of the movie's biggest laughs and prepares us for how far the limits of taste will be crossed in future comedies of the sort.

Whether or not you're going to enjoy The Hangover completely depends on your sense of humor, and that's pretty much it. If even after ten years you still feel queasy and disgusted by the infamous "hair jel" scene from There's Something About Mary, which although geniunely shocked audiences back then, it could be seen on the same level of Doris Day films compared to today's comedy standards, then please stay away from The Hangover. Don't be fooled just because you see a cute baby in the trailer. If only you knew what they did with that baby's hand...

The rest of us "deviants" are advised to fill the theaters to see The Hangover as soon as possible.
